Lagoon 450 - impressive new offering from
the French builder
Sailing catamaran Lagoon 450 bears the VPLP (Van Peteghem Lauriot
Prévost) signature, the most successful firm of naval architects to date
in the catamaran sector. The VLVP architects, together with Lagoon and
the Nauta Yachts design office, succeeded beautifully in developing a
new 45' catamaran to replace the famous Lagoon 440 (more the 400 units
sold).
An updating of the 440, the brand new Lagoon 450 line retains the
irreplaceable qualities of her predecessor, namely a fly bridge
accessible from both sides of the cockpit, a forward lounge, superb
performance under sail and luxurious comfort in the salon and cabins.
Lagoon 450 is one big cat, over 25ft wide and with a cast interior
fitted out in light woods to make the most of the sunlight filtering
through the plentiful ports and windows.
